Neil Donkin is a freelance Phuket Wedding Makeup & Hairstylist in Thailand. Originally from Sydney with over 25 years experience in both the Fashion and Television scene. In 2012, I decided to relocate to Phuket, Thailand and I enjoy a new loyal and growing following here, in both Phuket Weddings and Fashion circles.
Whilst working in Sydney I taught master classes in make-up for Estee Lauder, Max Factor, Napoleon and Gorgeous Cosmetics. I was a judge for the Art of Make-up Awards at the Sydney International Beauty Expo for 10 years and a guest judge at the South East Asian Make-up Competition in Malaysia.
During my 25 years as a hairdresser and makeup artist, I had the pleasure of working with Nicole Kidman, Elle Macpherson, Rose Byrne, KD Lang, Kylie Minogue, and Liam Hemsworth.
I prefer to use MAC, The Make-up Store, Urban Decay, Channel, Sephora and Laura Mercier. I regularly travel to the USA and throughout Asia testing new makeup releases. As well, I continue to train in both hair and makeup, which, I believe allows me to “give my brides that perfect combination of classic hair and makeup with the latest trends”.
